Letter 9/13/2012

¡Hola Familia y otras personas que tal vez he conocido durante el curso de mi vida! Well this week was pretty good, slowly but surely we are seeing more and more miracles in nuestra area. This week more and more members have been coming forward and finally are starting to invite their friends and family to listen to the gospel. We have close to 8 new investigators this week alone and we are hoping for a lot more this next week. The other nice thing is tomorrow night we are going to have a "noche mexicana" in celebration of sept. 15. Their 4th of july that no one in the united states knows about.... but should be fun and everyones inviting their friends.... Also this monday we got one of our investigators married, so now shes ready to be baptized this Sunday. Hoping all goes well with that. her husband still has to wait a little bit though... or more than a little bit..... but we´ll see, hopefully he decides to change his life around. Also, weve been teaching a newly wed named Maria Fernanda and her husband who never wants to listen to us, and she is progressing like crazy.... And i promised her that if she started changing her husband would feel the need to change too, and its happening!!! Her husband has been coming to church the past 2 sundays, both for miracles Maria prayed for. Its so neat to watch both of them now grow closer and start to just love everything about the church... And the members really do just treat them really great... Also, things in the offices just keep getting more and more hectic... the government just keeps giving me a hard time with all the visas that have expired and now ill have to see what happens when these missionaries try to go home.... Looks like next week ill be downtown everyday in the visa office hooray! Well, thank you all so much for your letters and updates, espero lo mejor para todos ahí! Elder Smitheram
